Hey Bill.
This is a little closer to the German theme. This Gent is part of the Landwehr Infantry Regiment 40 from Baden. I got this pic because, I have a Baden Landwehr Picklehaube and a commission 88 rifle.So If you could work your Magic on this one it would be great!

Yes you could be right about the look on her face,but she got her revenge,not long after she got her own uniform with the AWAS (Australian Womans Army Service) I dont think she got Grandad to try that one on.

Its from my personal collection of photos of axis soilders i have on my pc, most are from other sites where people write about battles and events of ww2 or leading up to ww2. This photo i think i got from one page explaining about the rise of the ss and its early days.
May i ask why you wanted to know?

Early DF photos are not very common i was interested as to it's origin
