you could try to find him in the list of the RK winners.
Don't recognise him but the RK looks as if it's been added to the photo so he's either a postumous or very late war RK winner,

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

[QUOTE=odessa1;36823]If you do, please tell me his name. I have other unknown Generals, too. Thanks ![/QUOTE I FOUND OUT WHO HE WAS! It is Franz Mattenklott, Commander of the 72 Infantry Division. I have another one I can't identify. I THINK it is Franz Sensfuss. Do you recognize him?
Through a lot of hard work I have found out who the gent above is too! It is General der Infantrie Erich Straube who was Commanding General of the LXXIV Armeekorps. Thanks for all the help!
Any time!
