This i have no doubt will be a superb personal memoir account of the Stalingrad fighting, Hans-Ludwig von Stockhausen was the Ordonszoffizier of K4 of 24 PD during the advance into South Stalingrad before being wounded in the jaw at the end of August 1942, he returned to the Division in Stalingrad on 30/9/42 and became the Nachrichten zug commander of K 4 and later the adjutant until he was captured on 2/2/43.
