Hi! I need some help identifying whether the photos here are actual photographs taken by an individual at the event, or some kind of propaganda photos that were mass produced. They were mixed in with a lot of loose WWII German photos I purchased at auction. Although, even under the magnifying glass, the quality of the photos is that of any other period black and white photograph I've seen (highly detailed), the backs of these photos are unusual. I don't speak German or maybe I could answer my own question

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

It says at the Tag der Arbeit, which was an annual day of work celebration, you see lots of Tinnies for these. Interesting that they are partly in Spanish as well as German. Cigarette cards or similar is also my opinion, and I have seen other similar sets for the 36 olympics etc... in albums.

Tag der Arbeit means Labor Day. That's all the German I know, apart from Arbeit macht frei.
