It reminds me of a photograph taken in Berlin 1945/46, it's one of the main roads (Unter den linden?), there are graves in the middle of the road and people are just passing by going about their business. Tried looking for it on line but no luck.

I noticed that the upside-down helmets are not full of rain water....do they have holes in their bottoms? And, speaking of which...I was wondering too why the woman on the blanket is lying on her back with her legs up in the air...but that's just me...

Looks like she is just about to get up - using her legs to gain momentum,
or has just let herself fall back. A 'stop-action' candid shot.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
