Interesting Hitler photo
Hi chaps
This is the only Hitler photo I own and after I enlarged it through my TV I noticed that there is a man standing behind him with glasses who you can only just see.
Do you think it's Himmler?
If you click on the photo you can enlarge it for a closer look.
The gent is wearing an SS Schirmutze which it seems has a rip in the front crown.
What do you guys think?
Jay.

Re: Interesting Hitler photo
Hi, Jay.
I think it is indeed Her Himmler........................!

Re: Interesting Hitler photo
It certainly looks like him and there is photographic evidence of him wearing a Schirmutze with a Heer Adler. I don't think there is a rip in the crown though.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Re: Interesting Hitler photo
agree its Himmler. Not sure if thats a rip or not, but I can see what you are refering to when you zoom into the area. Also, check out the nice leather jacket in wear with shoulderboards on the man to the left. Where do you think this photo takes place??

Re: Interesting Hitler photo
Thanks for replying chaps.
My suspicions were correct then!
It certainly looks like a flap of material hanging down from the cap but could be something else.
I don't know where it could be but would love to know!

Re: Interesting Hitler photo
Martin Bormann can also be seen with the goggels on his schirmutze.
If I remember correctly this was taken in France 1940?
Cheers, Ade.

This photo is from the Polish campaign of September/October 1939. Note the Sam Browne belts being worn (discontinued after the Polish campaign.)
