    Dear all,

today I found a very interesting letter, which was sent to Hitler in May 1935. You can see the receipt stamp of the Reich Chancellery on it.

I never saw such a document before and I would like to add it to my collection.

I uploaded some photos of the letter. I know it is hard to prove the authenticity of a document if you don't have it in your hands. Can you still give it a look?

I am really looking forward to your answers.

    Best regards from Germany

I bet Uncle Adolf wasn't too pleased getting a letter written on maths exercise book paper!...

Well, as the sender of this letter was in occupational problems (that's also the reason for writing the letter), he might not have a big choice of different writing papers...

So, all in all - does the letter look good to you in terms of being 81 years old?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Thumbs up

I agree, I see nothing wrong with it. Can't read hardly any of it since my knowledge of script hasn't been used in years.

Thanks a lot for all your answers. I bought this nice letter for only 30$.

I will give you more information about its content, once the letter arrived. I really like transliterating old German handwritings.

Whoever wrote it certainly has better handwriting than Mine....lol But, I agree-it should be an interesting letter to read for contents!

Our esteemed member HPL2008 "Andreas" could easily give his summation of the text written in this letter. The content of the time should match the style and grammar of the letter.
