And the great man himself, Oberst Werner Mölders, Inspector of Fighters (this role was orignially called Inspekteur der Jagdflieger for the first three men who held the position, but was redesignated General der Jagdflieger when Mölders assumed the post), and the first man in the world to shoot down 100 aircraft. Ironically he was killed as a passenger on a Heinkel He III, on his way back to Berlin for the state funeral of Ernst Udet.

Fantastic mate! Love the postcards. I am really a luftwaffe man at heart and I have a nice collection going but I am gonna have to keep my eye out for postcards now!
I have afew pieces of luftwaffe planes from WW2, just got in a part from a Arado Ar234 that bombed the ludendorf bridge at Remagen (Ofw. Friedrich Bruchlos of 8./KG 76 (F1+AS) was hit by ground fire from 634th AAA AW Battalion, US Army, the crew being that of Number 2 Gun of the First Platoon of Battery B, based at Erpel.
