And the great man himself, Oberst Werner Mölders, Inspector of Fighters (this role was orignially called Inspekteur der Jagdflieger for the first three men who held the position, but was redesignated General der Jagdflieger when Mölders assumed the post), and the first man in the world to shoot down 100 aircraft. Ironically he was killed as a passenger on a Heinkel He III, on his way back to Berlin for the state funeral of Ernst Udet.

This is an excellent Junkers factory postcard, with technical specs on the rear for the Ju 52. Don't forget, Junkers work is Quality work!

The oh-so-MIGHTY Dornier Do X. Twelve engines, go on, count 'em, TWELVE! The Do X was the largest, heaviest, and most powerful flying boat in the world when it was produced by the Dornier company of Germany in 1929. First conceived by Dr. Claudius Dornier in 1924, planning started in late 1925 and after over 240,000 work hours it was completed in June 1929.
