in brians defense....I have bought from the same network of people that Brian has, and I must agree with him. I have many many different photos from ww2 germany and the ones coming from this particular seller DO NOT seem to be fake at all. I personally can say that i havent yet bought one with the Russian writing on the reverse side, but that penciled scribble mark is very familiar to me and some of my photos. It is from a reputable seller from Germany who many of people have done business with no complaints. just thought i'd add that... as I admire Brians photo collection and enjoy photo collecting myself.

Another SS photograph i bought today, and is on the way to me.

I'm not sure if this one has been duplicated been passed around or not, but i like the fact that it is an US Army official photograph.

In the pic, you see an old French man shoving a fist up at them, I think i would have slapped him that old man.

I bet that old man was not acting so brave before the invasion.

Great photo Brian. Those two Waffen SS guys look completely exhausted and so young! I wonder if they are still around today. I would love to read their stories.
