Nice looking photos
Superb!
Just noticed on page one, the luft man has his cap eagle facing the wrong way and it looks like a cloth example rather than a metal type from a tropenhelm -though it might be-, so maybe sewn on back to front? And he does not appear to have a tunic eagle?

Whatever its just an opinion.
Hey bro, thanks a lot for your time and effort. So that's what you meant by ''check the thread'' lol
I had no idea that you started another one. I thought it would be a part of this one but since you will be colorizing in such a big scale, it's better and wiser that you decided to start a new thread.
Once again thanks

Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
I believe it was Italy Jerry ( not sure where). I ended up selling all of those photos, even the one with the Italian man w/ the pipe to a dealer named "EA-Antiks".
CHRIS- glad you liked it man!
RALPH-nice ones again!
I have a grouping I would like to share w/ you of a man from your fathers Kompanie: 3/Panzer Regiment 2. There are indeed writings on back too, and dated July 1940. It starts w/ his time in the RAD as well

Yeah......I thought it was - it was the child-bearing hips that caught my imagination (no...not THAT type of imagination)........just couldn't see a guy of such generous proportions slipping easily in and out of a hatch, clothed anyway. Either it IS a woman.......or some freakily questionable bloke. The "Girlfriend/wife in his uniform" although obvious......didn't occur to me, but thinking about it......thinking back...we also did the same, we even had an "end of year" bit of fun one afternoon/evening where our wives wore our uniforms and assumed our ranks......and the ensuing mess was recorded for prosperity!
