Looks as if they were all killed in or around the same area of the invasion. About 20 miles East/NE of Krakow

Wow! You found those guys? That's incredible!

And, the death line on the reports you posted fills in a blank on a word I couldn't quite make out in the photograph. The last line on the grave markers, under the dates on all three, says "Brzecze".

    Rest in peace gentlemen.

    Here's the photo, close up:

I'm having a hard time translating the first page as a couple of words are throwing me. If anyone knows what that says, I would really appreciate the help with this one.
    It says:

    "Zum Andenken
    an Deinen
    25. Geburtstag
    von Deiner
    Marianne

    Reichenbach/V.
    am 3.10.1941
    "

    ...meaning:

    "As a memory
    of your
    25th birthday
    from your
    Marianne

    Reichenbach/V.
    on 3rd Oct. 1941
    "

"Reichenbach/V." is short for "Reichenbach im Vogtland".

Wow, what an even more personal item that makes it. Thanks HPL2008! She had lovely script style.

Seems she had some knowledge about these photos then. Even labeled some as my tank, friend, etc. and I. Perhaps they filled it out together?

I can guess then from the more hastily and uncaptioned additions towards the end of the album, the soldier or someone else added those photos, 2 or 3 being duplicates from earlier in the album.
