Photo of Adolf Hitler in April 1937. It shows him during a visit of Castle Ernich (also called "House Ernich"), a neo-baroque manor house in Remagen.

Since 1933/34 the family Richardsen managed a popular hotel's on-site restaurant in Castle Ernich.

    Hitler visited this place frequently.

In the book "100 Jahre Schloss Ernich bei Remagen" it says that Hitler visited the castle on April 12 1937. This might be the day the photo was taken.

Do you know someone of the other two men?

Hitler - Reichswehrminister von Blomberg - Goebbels in debate.

On the back of the photo it says 15.11.1934, but the photo seems to be taken on 25.02.1934.

I found a similar photo on the internet (picture 3 of my attachments) and in Wikipedia it says: Before act of state on Remembrance Day (renamed in Heroes' Day) in state opera "Unter den Linden", Berlin.

What do you think? Am I right?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

All I can say is the last two seem to match up 100% so I guess you have the right date and location --- nice photos! Looks like some are official/press prints.

A photo from the 1939 Berlin Auto Show. The awards were apparently presented by Hitler himself, as the documents that came with them are also from Hitler. The man in the helmet and goggles is Staffelführer Rudolf Caracciola. He looks very much like the man behind Hitler in the car wearing the same kind of helmet and goggles. This photo was taken on March 17,1940 when the awards were given. Is this the same man and the same event? It looks likely to me, at least. The nose is very much alike with the man in the back seat. This was a yearly event, so it could, of course, be from one of the other years as well.

The photo with Hitler in the car the SS guards are wearing hats that seem wrong to me for a 1940 photo. See this thread link to see the evolution of the hats over the years.

Thank you all for your helpful and interesting answers.

Thanks for the link. I also think the photo seems to be older. In March 1940 Hitler probably was involved in arrangements for the campaign in the west...?

I could contact the alpine hotel Brennerbascht, maybe they still have documents about this event. Who knows...

The next photo shows Adolf Hitler in April 1938 in Franfurt am Main doing the Hitler salute in a driving car.
In the background on the right behind the people you can see the "Salzhaus", built around 1600.
It was destroyed during a bombardment in March 1944, but rebuilt afterwards. The second picture shows the present appearence of the building.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Adolf Hitler sitting in the back of a car in June 1934 in Zossen (35 km / 22 miles south of Berlin).

From 1938 to 1945 the head quarter of "Oberkommando der Wehrmacht" and from 1939 to 1945 the head quarter of "Oberkommando des Heeres" was located here.

I wonder if that is a special built car? The wheel is enormous on it and the running board is wide enough to Sleep on...

I also noticed these huge dimensions! Unfortunately I am no specialist for cars of the Third Reich. Maybe someone else can say more about it?
