Good eye on the bayonet Larry! The configuration with sleeve eagle and chevron is pretty common i would say. It does not go well according to regulations?

Another dual DK recipient breaking the rules. This time it's SS Gruppenfuhrer Odilo Globocnik, a really nasty piece of work who enthusiastically ran Operation Reinhard (Aktion Reinhard) that liquidated between 1.5-1.8 million jews and stole around 175-180 million Reichsmarks in less than 2 years. He was captured by the British at the end of the war and commited suicide whilst in custody.
There were 14 recipients awarded both types of Deutsche Kreuz during the war.
Regards, Ned.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.

Here is one I just got......SS TK's on Black wrap again! Love the saddle form on his cap tho.
I just noticed the odd shape of his tabs/braid. Looks pointed at the top?
