And these.....being the owner of a Westie, I find these photographs particularly appealing ! I even use one as my my avatar ! Top :- Leutnant von Bulow. Bottom :- Oberleutnant Rudolf Berthold, both members of the Imperial German Air Service during WW1. Prost ! Steve.

Very nice thread Adrian. Here is the only pooch in any TR era photo that I have.
It was a great surprise when I recieved this pic to see not only a bestowal
of the EKII, but freshly awarded Westwall medals being worn as well.
The perky Shepperd was a bonus........!
