Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Hey everybody, got some new cards today thought you all would like to see The first two cards are postcards from a set of Hitler youth cards.the other two are ships with a rather intresting history .The sailing vessel is the Horst Wessel aka The USCG Eagle, still in service today the next one is the K.d.F Wilhelm Gustloff which was sunk in 1945 by a Russian sub in the Baltic it was the largest loss of life on any ship ever,it is estamiated that between 8 and 10 thousand were lost,it had been converted to a hospital ship and was full of German wonded and German civilians fleeing the Russian advance
I just picked up two postcards recently along w/ some other paper items. What are some ways to tell if they are period original or not?
