I like blowing these old photos up after being posted to see detail not always visible to the naked eye. Here I see National Hotel above the soldiers heads. Now to figure out where that hotel was to logically figure out the location of this parade.

This must be about 1932 and there is a Continental Hotel around as well, indeed.

Wasn't difficult to find. The hotel on the corner in the second picture is the national hotel at Bamberg, Germany.
