surrendering German Luft soldiers-what location

official British photo,,,anyone know which unit and were this took place???...i know the pics indicates Caen,,,but would luft field division troops be there,,,i thought mostly SS units were engage around Caen

The moment I saw this picture I knew it was in Normandy.I have seen it in a book before with 2 other pictures it is a set of 3 .I think it was in a French book about D-day.Yes you are correct about the SS division some very nice SS helmets came out of there.I belive the luftwaffe division was the 16th luftwaffe field division.
