Re: UV Blacklight: help!!!
Welcome to the forum!
I cannot give you an exact year, but I would not trust any paper that glows. It will not be 1940's that much I can tell you.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: UV Blacklight: help!!!
Thanks for the welcome
I agree with you, does not give me good feeling photography but for texture and wear seems to original I'll bring it back, I have been in contact with the seller, and accepts the return
Thanks again

Re: UV Blacklight: help!!!
One thing I have always wondered about with photos is the sort of hybrid. I don't collect photos so I don't know anything about them one way or the other, but there are obviously the wartime photos and also you have the post-war reproductions but in terms of collecting desirability/proving one way or the other, what if the photo was taken during the war but for whatever reason the film wasn't developed until post war? Is a genuine wartime taken & developed photo more desireable then a genuine wartime taken photo developed post war as surely it is the content of the image that is the main point of the interest?

Re: UV Blacklight: help!!!
I had not thought about it but you are quite right, but I imagine that those occasions are few and hope that those who sell fakes do not use it
the truth that the photo original texture and wear seems even though I have spoken with the seller and I will return
thanks!
