Brian,
Out of interest (and this is an honest question) what do you find interesting about these photos please?
W.
I like the fact that they are not combat pics, as there are plenty of those combat pics out there, you hardly see any pics of lower ranks with his family.
I like them, and i thought i would share them with everyone.
Do you not like them ?
Brian
Thanks for sharing these with us Brian.
They illustrate a couple of interesting points and they are:
1) Not everyone wore at cuff title all the time.
2) Coloured piping worn on the schirmutze. Obviously we cannot make out the colour here, but it does not look like the regulation white.
Cheers, Ade.
Its a real light color piping, they could be white in the actual pics.
And yes, i like it there is no cuff title, and he is a corporal.

I usually pic up any, and all SS pics i find, and these were the first I've found that was not combat related, or political, as these show him with his wife and child.
That's all.
Brian
Hi Brian,
I find these excellent photo's as they depict the family or loving man that was hidden behind that collar rune and the nasty name that went along with it. Not to defend them at all as we all know even the cruelest of ss men had family but then again not everyone was a monster.
Thanks for showing !
rgds, Ty
Hi, Brian !
Maybe Woske is more interested to see pic´s like that:
No . They are just more "bombs and bullets" pictures. To me they are boring. My interest lies in the direction of SS personalities, such as SS Generals. The different interests in various images is what makes this hobby tick. It would be a sad day if we all liked the same thing.
This is more like my interest. An excellent study in this BA photo of Ulrich Graf.
