Re: What are these SS officers up to?
Why do I get the feeling that's about me... ¬.¬
Nah, seriously, thanks everyone for this monster brainstorming session, it's great to arrive at the truth of the matter and solve the puzzle! I apologise again for any misinformed comments I've made, they've been duly rethought. I'll never criticise the SS ever again!
Kind regards,
Robbie

Hmmm..... I wonder......
Plenty to criticise them for Robbie but just do it in the correct context and at the right time. Sensationalizing an innocent photo into something it isn't is just wrong.
Please never buy a photo of an SS man holding a kitten or getting married!
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Re: What are these SS officers up to?
Haha! I know, I know, it's stereotyping. It's similar to the idea that if my school had a bad reputation well deserved, I'd be cast under the same stigma just because I wore the uniform. I'll make sure I think these things through in future.
My next photo I want shows some SS men on a road trip. I can't think of anything sinister about that

You wore an SS uniform at school? Wow.

Don't worry, I can take a joke I'd be no fun if I got all up in arms over every tongue-in-cheek comment people made... plus it's nice to have a little militaria humour on here!
Kind regards,
Robbie
