Hah, "Metal pipe". Very nice find, it is in amazingly good condition, has it been in a swamp or somewhere?

That would explain it, iron and steel and such rust a lot more in sand, but apprently wood preserves it well.

That's a button of a US wintercoat, strange to dig that up in poland.
Interesting indeed, I wonder how it got there...
