    Not something you see every day!
    When the subject is flamethrowers, Im reminded of the George Carlin quote:
    "The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

    Bandi that's a great find and like you say rare to find whole i've only found the top section before !

    Hi all.

    At least good digging.
    30 degrees Celsius but no mosquitoes
    The same forest in which I digging shells to Pak 40 and Flak 2cm last year.
    At the beginning shrapnels, Ppsz and Mosin shell, nothing special but then...

    Adam we have a whole section on dog tags , in German Erkennungsmarke , all is explained in there !!

    it show that the dog tags found were used and part of it found buried. could it be the owner who wear it could be killed and someone took it out and throw it away? or discarded by Casualties Unit after the owner were buried with the other half and his name was recorded in the report?

    Hi! amazing finds!do you have any picture of the russian helmet which you have found on page 9 cleaned? i'm really courious about that, it looks in a good consevation! is it battledamaged?

    Yep, lid is battle damaged - shrapnel.
