    Hi there!
Very interesting place, especially to me as I am forester.
    Very interesting finds too.
When I see pictures like these, I get filled out with this strange feeling. It's hard to me to believe that 65 years ago men were actually standing in those trenches strugling for their bare lives. Tell me I'm strange, but I always try to imagine their faces, mood and finnaly combat for trenches. Strange, isn't it?

    Yep, ghosts of the history...
I always wonder to whom the findings belonged. Is he survived the war etc.
And I love finds "touch" by history...

As I say from the tank remained only pieces of scrap:

It's the questions that drives us, my friends. What, where, who and so on.
To know the full story behind a seemingly unintersting piece of metal is the "holy grail" of a relic hunter
    Great find, BTW

'44 Oct.-Nov. (?) German Ju-52 crash site remains. Largest pieces removed immediately after crash by local villagers. Mountainous terrain, NE Hungary. Most of the relics were found on the surface. No identifying marks!! Archival search in progress.
I'll keep you abreast as the situation developes!!!

I had two suspects: JagdPanzer and Panther. In the end it came out it was a Panther...

    Gas pedal:

    MG fussabfeuerung:

Part of Kwk 42 breech block:

    Part of track link:

The Panther belonged to 2 Panz Reg from 16 Pz Div.
It was destroyed probably 14.01 or 15.01.1945 by an AT round or just broke down and the crew set a fire...

    Pozdrawiam.
