Another strange Air base find.

Another strange air field find. This one came from a dump site on a 9th / 8th air force base. I dont have a clue what its for but it looks like a really good find. Can anyone help please??

Its made from plastic and has 2 wires comeing out of the bottom. Sounds abit silly but it reminds me of a kind of bombs away type switch. The base it came from had B17s & B26 bombers.

It is probably a push to talk switch from the communications system of the aircraft. This same mode was used in tanks. You will find one just like this on the page linked here if you scroll down. WWII Tank Helmet M-1938 & Related Equipment
