Further research into the 2/6th Armour has confirmed the presence of VX51548 A W Muhlhan.
The Regt. apparently was based on the Tablelands in 1944 before serving overseas in Matildas before returning the Tablelands and training in Grants ~
I assume an liaison officer's task would be quite the hand full ~
