I just noticed that theis thread is almost a year old, does anybody know if Chopper still have B-17 relics?

PB, You seem to have the ability of finding B-17 crash info, could I ben your ear and ask if you have information on "Battlin Betsy" of the 388th, I do not have a serial number. I have 24 B-17 relics and I am putting them on display boards and looking to place the entire display in an air museum. Any help is appericated.

16 combat missions between 17th July and 4th October 1943, afterwards classified as salvage. (I couldn't find out why she was written off though..)

Thanks a tons!! I am putting together displays for 23 B-17's and growing. I am goint to start on a stand for all the displays and hopefully be able to display them all at March Field museum. I have another 28 B-17's I am currently trying to add to the collection. if you happen to know of any relics, please let me know. (**deleted**) Again thank you for your help with "Battlin Betsy"

Hi mate sorry have not been on here for a while I have still got lots of the b17 parts, I would sell them as I've started bottle digging and don't really go relicing anymore. The only thing is I don't really want to post as there is a lot, I would have sort it all out.
