How did I not find this site last night?! There were a couple that returned early then on the 24th, I can only assume one had a serious mechanical failure and went down over kent.

Earnest, Ball Turret Gunner: Bill Powell, Waist Gunner: W. Hadway, Waist Gunner: Cleveland Lamb, Tail Gunner: Gilbert Foster (9RTD); crash-landed in woods at Starvecrow Hill, near Gravesend, a mile N of Tonbridge, Kent; Salvaged. 3/3/44.

I convinced myself the Bomb group was wrong and the date was right,When in fact it was the other way round.
Will make a copy of the history and place it inside the toolbox.
