Back on the Encampment more finds!

Hi all,

Back today for another session,


I had only just switched the Detector on when i hit another dump. Sadly it was full of rusty tins, strangley there was a piece of a soda syphon i wonder what happend to the rest. Also there seemed to be remains of a bandage in the pit



My next find of intrest was a 2inch Mortar Cap


Not long after this came out SWB (South Wales Borderers) That's two i found from this site now


A nice razor in good condition


A good end to the day


Soon it was time to head home

Awesome finds I believe that the primer you have is a No15 Percussion for the 76mm Shell, which was fired by the Scorpion....Well, it certainly looks like it

Nice interesting finds. That is the great thing about metal detecting and relic hunting, you never know what is going to pop up next. Well done.
