A few items from the excavation of a backfilled pond a few weeks ago, after an initial cleaning:



Antenna insulators and other electrical items:



Sawn-off length of pipe:



Nicely marked Bakelite jar lid, but from what?



Formation light fitting, probably a C-1 type, but from what aircraft?
The remnants of the transparent fairing may be a clue:



AN-B-10 bomb shackle, tripped and missing the release arm:

Updates:

The formation light appears to be an A-9 Position Lamp and support fairing from a B-17G wingtip.

The alloy casting next to the prop hub gaskets in the first photo is a propeller shaft transit protector.

Still no idea about the lid with the royal cypher though...

Hi Paul,nice finds! did you come across all the usual rubbish like bottles? iv also found a couple of insulators at mine well at least i know that they are insulators now looking forward to seeing what else you turn up

That's a ceramic lid from a swing stoppered pop bottle.

Yup, the tapered ceramic jobby is a bottle stopper, usually seen with a rubber ring in the recess.

The item below it in the grouped photo appear to the the centre electrode from a sparkplug.
