I know "Time Team" has it faults, but I still enjoy it more than any other TV programme. Sad to see Mick go. Looks like the usual receipe of dumming down and style over content. It does not need a "dolly bird" presenter.
Cheers, Ade.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
I like TT, but the ones they show down here are getting a bit boring, if it's not roman or Neolithic then it never happened.....I have seen that shaw bloke on a few shows here, it's fun to hear the background to these things, we don't get all the "chatter" down here
I used to watch the show but somehow I find it a bit boring. I don't have the knowledge to detect their mistakes but sometimes it's like watching a porn where nobody shags... very few finds and alot of talks, deadend researches and stretched assumptions in the end. It would be more interesting if they actually concentrated the show more on how they found the locations, on the diggings and so on. But of course I am not the average watcher being myself into that too.

Matt
