    Hi All.
I enlisted in the new Pathfinder team "Poisk".
Our main task - to search for the remains unburied soldiers.
Our activities under the control of state institutions.
Last weekend we had our first work.
So far, the result-0, the soldiers were not found, then a few photos

    Kram

Many thanks for sharing these photos. Please post more when you have them.

You are doing very good work my friend. Finding those lost soldiers is an honourable job indeed.

You are getting some nice finds as well. Any idea what the steering wheel is off ?

    Cheers

    Hi Kram,

The steering wheel looks very much like the one used on the Fordson N (or standard) 1933-1945, many of the early Cork made long mudguard models were sent to the USSR in the early 1930s, this was "replicated" in the state tractor of 1936 so this is probably from one of these. Like your DPM jacket too!

    Nice helmet find also!!

    Cheers

Kram, Great job, wish I could do something like that. Very interesting and worthwhile work. Do you get to keep the relics or are they turned over to a museum? Good luck, John

Exciting to see this stuff coming out of the ground. I have done similar digs on American Civil War sites but would love to do some in Europe. Keep up the good work!
