    Hello Scout, I like to dig too, but where I live there are only few spots for ww2 stuff and mainly 2nd or 3rd line. We don't find Flak rounds, heavy shells,mortar rounds,mines and so on. That's why I used the word "hardcore" They also look pretty dangerous to me, since I am used to dig badges and small things only

    I understand and I also have a healthy respect for things that can explode. I leave such stuff behind and have no desire to mess with it.

    it takes my breath away when anyone digs up any form of uxb that has been in the ground for sixty or so years , great finds but not worth your life i am sure .

    Been there... brilliant place to visit! However, you would certainly need to dig to find anything & digging is strictly prohibited there! Probably why we didnt come across any holes or soil piles to even suggest digging!... This obviously makes you want to dig more.......
