Battlefield found 1933 Mosin rifle

Hello guys

Here is a few pics of my battlefield found 1933 Mosin rifle from the Serpimolot Factory. It was a very interesting find. The bolt and rifle was found 8-10 meters apart, making me think it comes from a Soviet soldier taken prisoner. The bolt have clearly been thrown because the firing pin have been slightly bent. The area is very interesting indeed. Lots of German and Soviet ammunition, both fired an not fired.Even in the same trenches. Very close combat have been taken place there. A bit south of the Mosin find, PPsh trigger groups and lots of mags where found. Also part of a Maxim Mg trigger group.

Any info on Serpimolot Mosin's is more than welcome

The pics are not the best but relic cleaning in the apartment is not a popular pastime...

You are welcome Gunny. I am sure we will have some fun out there. Btw, you are in Berlin all the time. Moscow is not that far away. Some Germans almost made it to Moscow in the early 1940's LOL
