Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
One thing to take care of is not getting your fingers caught between the magnet and some larger item. They lift anything from 300 kg and up so it's not hard to imagine what can happen. Most injuries with magnets is of this kind. Also some ammunition can be sensitive to magnetism Left say you dump it on a Tellermine close to the detonator. The magnet will then press down on the detonator.
Cheers!

Thank you very much
Cheers!
Now that would hurt like a bitch . I've also heard that the strongest ones (don't know if true) can cause problems with pacemakers. You know better so you can correct me, but usually heavier ordnance was thrown into rivers and lakes. Would really suck getting that stuck on an artillery round or Tellermine like you said.
Great stuff!

REGARDS AL
We are the Pilgrims , master, we shall go
Always a little further : it may be
Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea...
Very nice finds Lars.
Fun to see.
