Yep, that was my impression too, from visiting Russia and Moscow in particular. NUTS!
Thanks Lars for your answer, terrible new...I have a great respect for the soldier memory, if a man find a war skeleton in my country, the local police is contacted, but in Russia, I dont know your investigationBy rip i guess you mean forgotten soldiers. We have of course found both.
take care
Sebastian
We mark the spot, collect them later and take them with us. I know a priest burying forgotten soldiers for 12 years. We don't always give them to Volksbund if it's Germans but that is their own fault.
Regards, Lars
The War is always a Fault my friend, but the German army ( WH and SS ) was realy terrible in Russia, it's true, not all of course but the nazi ideology VS the Russia was a horrible thing...
Hello guys,
I just came back from the first tour of the season. I will post some pics tomorrow because i am too tired to do it now. I have also made some video. Among the items we found was a nice Q helmet and a half a MG34. Also a lot of small finds. No soldiers found.
Regards, Lars

Ok guys. Now i had some sleep. Here is some pics from the three day trip. It's far from all the pics we took and i will still have to take some pics of the finds. I simply did not had the time to make detailed pics of the smaller items i brought back.
From the start. Russian dirt roads in the spring.
Heading out on the search.
Rollbahn and trench
Surface finds and pic of the forest.
My partner finds a nice M40 with partially visible Heer decal.
Shell casings and surface finds.
Lunch break
More finds. Bottles and Soviet boots. Not sure though about the boots.
We had a small discussion about this "button". Shoulder board or from collar tabs. SS collar tab?
5 cm mortar stamped RWS 1940. Not fired.
MG34
Some parts of a gas generator, we think, and engine oil sump.
What i think is a Nebelwerfer rocket.
Artillery shell. Not fired.
My feet on the third day. Gore tex is not that effective.... lol. Conditions was very wet indeed.
That's all for now. More to come including a video. Hope you find it interesting.
Regards, Lars
