Hello guys.
i'm quite new to this site and forum, but i must say that i feel the deepest respect to what you guys are doing.
Me and my two friends have been digging the history of ww2 for at least 30 years and some of us have connection to the history one way or another.
i'm not sure we will have the privilege to visit the actual sites beyond reichtag or war cemetries, but i'm glad someone has the spririt of making a difference.
It may be a long time ago but there are still someones son, father or husband outhere.

The rifle bolt is from a kar98a. A carbine from the first war which many were kept and used by germany in the 2nd war , but mostly in a police issue role in things more associated with einsatzkommandos and antipartisan police units.
