    Default brass/mortar flight find

i found these somewhere in tyrone ireland quite a while ago so cant remember exactly where someone told me they could be american round's from ww2?

the marking arent really clear on the casing's so i tried them in some white vinegar, which didnt work they are just too rusted as i found them in a bog.

nearly forgot there is the piece of lead which was with everything, so i must of found it with everything else but just cannot remember

    cheers rory

Most of them are .303 British cases with a couple of 30-06 cases also a 2" mortar tail with a propelling cartridge still inside it.The lead one could be .455 British, what does it measure?...Pete.
