    Hi
I live in Denmark and the west coast ( Jutland area) is littered with them, there are about 8 within 5 miles of my house, mostly overgrown but one is used to make cheese in... most are empty now though...Andy

Default Rommel inspecting the danish coast

Here's a nice shot of Rommel with quite a few other Military Officers inspecting the Danish Wall. This image is a very large press foto. Is that Ruge to Rommel's left? Or is it Doenitz? Anybody know?

Most of the bunkers around where i live ( Jutland ) have been emptied years ago as they were not hidden away in the middle of nowhere like some of the ones on this site so i think if anyone is coming looking for finds they would be very disappointed but it is still worth a visit to see them as there are a lot. There is a massive one called the Tirpitz battery about 20 km from me. It was to have large cannons installed but I think I read that the railway line was blown up and the cannons never got there but when I get home I will post some pictures of the ocal ones but I am on a ship for the next four weeks so apologies for the delay with that...Andy
