Yea again. I know they're made of wood. (I think) It's really not as popular over here. Mostly 'old' people go for it. Sorta like shuffleboard.

Not popular here either... Only seen it being played in Italy and france by the old guys... I will stick to an Alley, 10 pins and my Urethane balls

Some of the things my wife says to me sometimes turns my balls to stone. Is that the same thing ?? She's not old enough to have been around in the ice age though

    Back on topic Stephen !!!!!........

The thing I thought most about these finds is.....3 in one spot ? Cannons were notoriously inaccurate so unless you stumbled on a storage area I find them unlikely to be cannonballs.

I like the fruit idea ! Try cracking one open !

    Hi guys,
Three in one spot? Why not!! Check this photo out, taken one year after "The Charge of the Light Brigade" during the Crimean war. It shows the british end of the "Valley of Death", just look at the volume of Russian shot in the picture!! Imagine if you can galloping into that haiil of iron!! They don't make 'em like that anymore!! Tennyson was right when he dubbed them forever more "THE BRAVE SIX HUNDRED". God bless them all.
    Regards, Ned.
