Re: collection of relic weapons
The M1 Garand barreled receiver looks in decent shape, albeit stripped of all parts. I would assume if it was found that way it was stripped because the barreled receiver was damaged beyond reasonable repair. It looks to have been made at springfield armoury, is the logo legible on the receiver heel? how about the date on the right side of the barrel?

It was found just the way it is.
I will have to go look for a date and a logo I just do not remenber if it was still there.
