D-Day Movement Camp. First Finds.

Article about: Here are some pics of my first finds from this area. A couple of general searches with the metal detector turned up some interesting items amongst the anonymous bits of iron. The tracks are

    Hi John, the tracks are from a Universal Carrier: but it does say that in the original post.

    Hello - just noticed that of the .303 rounds the right-hand one (picture showing them all standing up) is a blank round. Were they used to fire some sort of grenade, otherwise seems an odd thing to cart over to France at that time.
