You have posted a picture with a title "Some Russian cartridges" but the cartridges are not Russian but German. Also the training rounds are for German K98.
I know the training rounds are German.
But the cartridges where flat tipped, and as I recall there was a Cyrillic marking on the head stamp.

A soviet Mossin Nagant ammo?
Does not look like the 7.62X54R, so i agree with you here. Not Mosin rounds.

Flat tipped ammo can be easily be just frontline made - causes terrible wounds and was of course prohibited but - who cared? Both Soviets and Germans used them. Maybe You will have some better pictures, it is quite rare to find such ammo.
