    Here we found a few grenades and some ammo , then the remains of a soldiers bag , it turned out to be Russian , it contained his spoon and a salt shaker he had made from a flare caseing , we also found some of this poor guys remains , we bagged everything we found up and he was taken back to Estonia where he recieved a decent burial.

    I see there were photos placed on the graves. I take it the soldiers were fully identified then?

    Hi Ade, most part of Soviet soldiers can not be identified ( due of that is possible by numbered orders and medals only) in that graveyard is approx 40 soldiers, just 4 identified.
    The last time there was burrial at Oktober , 25 2008, at the same place

    Many of the Soviet soldiers considered it bad luck to carry their details in their bakerlite containers , " Tempting fate " as it were so it is usually difficult to identify them.
