A wooden clog. Found by a POW camp dumping pit. The slaves had to wear these "shoes" , often it was only the wooden sole with a piece of leather or string to stick the foot in..

NO ~ As per above that is ~ candle holders ~ no problems ~

If I was to try and send a few flares or live rounds through the mail into or around Australia ~ the odds may just be that I would have holiday in a small concrete room with bars on the window and the only front door!

In fact Torch/ Sean and I have discussed how I could ship active rounds ~ even just 303 rounds to him at opposite ends of the country ~ The odds are that nothing may happen and everything should be fine but they do x-ray packages ~ and if they did find them ~ I would be in the ^&%&^% BIG TIME ~

We have a mutual acquaintance to is offering fifty calibre rounds and has shipped to me but has deactivated them ~ again ~ and intriguingly he shipped them as is (deactivated) ~ and there was no problem what so ever ~

What I was considering doing was to send expended 303 shells and retrieved 303 bullet heads and then Sean could then put them together ~ Best thought I have had to date ~ short of driving 5000 km to Western Australia ~

And at this point that is not about to happen ~ LOL

I know exactly what you mean campx..I don't see any issue with it as I never bring any dangerous items into the country but as Stu mentioned above..if they were to realise it could mean some issues for me...I like the idea of touring around FNQ Stu,you have some beautiful country up there and the wife seems keen..just need money now!
