    A little while back I recieved some photos from "Stalag V II A" which Pitfighter sent me (Thanks alot mate!) Last night I framed them up together with a pair of POW tags from this Stalag which I found in a dumping pit by a camp in Nordland Norway.
    So again, Big up to you Pitfighter

    Been out there where the ants roam today doing some searching and digging. Not much but rust today but had a interesting find on the end of the day. A spot With a lot of good signals , I did a test dig and found a gebirgsjäger boot sole. I`ll be back there tomorrow morning to see if it might be the dumping pit I have been searching for

    And when I got home I was alittle bored so I started making stands for my relic helmets

    Thanks guys Im pouring in some coffee before Im off to the place I found the gebirgsjäger boot sole.I might also stop to pick up a few more fence poles to make more helmet stands

    Default Ruined shed

    I still cant imagine that you found that shed earlier with all the 'rubbish', i am very surprised that there are still abandoned structures from the last war not looted or removed by locals or even refugees.

    I know we value these original pieces but immediately post war they must have been useful to someone.
