I have been busy at the workbench again. My friend had made two nice shotglasses from VY 23 mm casings, which was used on the IL-2 Sturmovik, and I needed to make a little crate for them. I used balsa wood, and painted it with acrylics. I am happy with the result, but will do two small corrections, first the ZU-23 will be changed to VY-23 and I will use straw instead of the foam inside the crate. Hope you all like it

Got a new miniature for my collection. This time it was one of the hens teeth, the Norwegian "Frontkjemper" badge, awarded to norwegian volunteers fighting in the Waffen SS In the last pic it is together with my only other norwegian ss/ns pins.

Soooo you are the one who bought the helmet with the drakkar. Now i am relieved.

I sent the finder a PM asking if i could buy the helmet. But he told me it was sold, i was certain it was in another country by now. I do not collect SS, but i wanted to buy the helmet to secure it for the future, it was so important for me to get that historical important helmet back to Norway.
(( If it was Norway the owner came from- sadly we cannot say 100% without a name in the helmet))

Now i am very happy to know it is in a good collection!

Please, I hope you can consider sending me a PM first if you ever are going to sell this important helmet.
