Yesterday I had to drive into Finland to pick up my brother,,on the way back we visited the Sturmbock Stellung towards the Norwegian border. A very interesting site where the local municipality has restored more than a kilometer of the positions, with bunkers, dugouts and trenchlines.

Here is a new small display I ve made. Three k98 stripper clips, the middle one a bit unusual, made from aluminium and marked "AP-1-39-D". All three found in Kurland

    Attachment 1271398 Attachment 1271399
I think that aluminium stripper clip is actually for a French MAS 36 rifle; which were captured & later used by some German units & their allies.

I have a similar one - also dug, though not by me - see here for my post on it, with some possibly helpful info from other members

A great day Inka. Loved the blog!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
