Hi Inka,

Fascinating post. The item second from the bottom in the previous post looks like a large shell casing that has been turned into a shot glass. I was given a set that look very similar.

Thanks On Saturday I found a shotglass made of a 2cm casing like you have, the one I found yesterday is a silver communion cup

Sorry, was talking about the shot glass. I actually meant to post it to the previous post above your latest one. I actually have a set of about 8. Yours looks to be the same size as mine. Hopefully yours should polish up nicely.

I ve cleaned it alittle but will keep the patina as it looks nicer than polished up I think

Two drinking glasses I ve dug out in a Wehrmacht camp this summer

Well,the mountaintops has a new fresh layer of snow,so the season is rapidly coming to an end here north, Hopefully the weather will do some weird tricks and keep it digable until christmas at least Was out in the forest today, didnt find too much but a long Krag Joergensen bayonet and a trench art ashtray on the end of the day did the job
