    ..That was yesterday,Went back there today ,with a shovel,to see how many of these boxes was there. After some digging,which was hard because of a thick forest floor full of roots,more like tearing than digging really,I found two more ammo boxes..

    I decided to leave the boxes there and maybe best inform authoratees about them,,these shovels and pickaxe had been placed over the boxes by the ones who left them there..

    ..it was still early afternoon so I walked around the area finding little until I had another stroke of Luck. It seems to have been a dumping pit for a german handgrenade Storage,they just kept pouring out of the ground,at one point I heard something fast coming towards me..I turned my head and saw mr.squirrel come running,he saw me and went far up into the tree investigating me from a safe distance,it was amazing. Im going back there tomorrow again

    Fascinating...I probably would have done a bit more detecting around the area first before notifying the police, lol...But only you know what's best for your situation and the laws of your country...I really appreciate you showing us your finds, welcome to the Forum...

    I wouldn't be surprised if you found a stash of helmets in that pit...(Salivating now)

    Welcome the the forum!
    Sadly I just left Norway and Im shifting back to New Zealand for a couple of years, but I WILL BE BACK in between.
