It's always strange, to think of such a wild and lonely wilderness countryside that was once, many years ago, a place of soldiers, combat and violence. Perhaps they left their trash there-or perhaps their bones as well. But Nature is reclaiming it all, and soon no trace at all will remain that anyone was ever there. What an amazing place to explore!

Its been a few days since last update, had some stuff needing to be done and some days was a horrible rain weather. Managed to get outside today, and went straight to an area where ze germanz had some stables during the war,and after the war it was supposedly used as a large dumping area. I spoke With a guy at work last week and he is going to try get permission so we can go there With a tractor or CAT digger to make some decent holes in the ground..I had lots of hits on the detector and soon had a little pit going..

Yes,it was some interesting pics you posted Lars! Next year I`ll come join you for a trip or two

Did alittle more searching after I filled the pit,and soon dug a good signal. Close to this area there was some fighting between British Scotsguards and Norwegian troops trying to halt German gebirgsjägers and this time there was a leftover from the little Battle..a Sharp one, threw it in the river..
